After some dithering, I've signed up for [community profile] kink_bingo. (Card, for my own reference.)

I'm fairly jealous of those of you proclaiming happily how many ideas are springing fully formed into your brain on receiving yours. I am more like... *maybe* I can do this bingo line here, *maybe*? Writing sex scenes is a challenge, so expect angst (from me)!

In other porny news, I'm done the one sentence paragraph ficlets from last time. (*Maybe* they worked as reassurance?)

Life on Mars, Sam Tyler/Gene Hunt for [personal profile] petra.

DCU, Amanda/Vril ii for [personal profile] caiusmajor.

White Collar/Good Omens, Neal Caffrey/Crowley for [personal profile] dine.

nu!Star Trek, Keenser/Scotty for [personal profile] papershoes.
The last one-plus sentence meme around here was on the theme of "porn adventures or dish-washing adventures: I decide!" ...and the results are finally in!

for [insanejournal.com profile] vagbond_sal: Batman and Kyle Rayner )

for [insanejournal.com profile] ysabel: Agatha Heterodyne and Capt. Jack Harkness )

for [insanejournal.com profile] droolfangrrl: The Washington Monument and The Lincoln Memorial )

for [insanejournal.com profile] gdaybloke: Beta Ray Bill and the Harbinger of Menoth )

for [insanejournal.com profile] caia_comica: Amanda Waller and Vril Dox II )

odditycollector: Dramaticly lit Alan Scott in a heroic stance. Text reads: "My Fandom's Only Weakness is Wood." (Alan Scott)

In related news, y'all are nuts. SOME OF YOU MORE THAN OTHERS.

I leave it as an exercise to the reader to decide which.

For [livejournal.com profile] petronelle: Doctor Who, Nine/Rose )

For [livejournal.com profile] caia_comica: DCU, Bat-Mite/Mxyzptlk )

For [livejournal.com profile] athene_51: SGA, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay )

For [livejournal.com profile] poisonivory: DCU, Linda Danvers/Jimmy Olsen )

For [livejournal.com profile] plum177: Hitchhiker's Guide, Ford/Arthur )

For [livejournal.com profile] baked_goldfish: Good Omens/Firefly, Jayne/Aziraphale )

For [livejournal.com profile] gdaybloke: Marvel, She-Hulk/Steven Hawking )

Also, [livejournal.com profile] caia_comica wrote me Five times Sam Wilson and Comet the Super-horse totally did it! (Which, if you see above what she bade *me* to write, is eminently fair.)
(One of my 2007 resolutions is to catch up, at least a little, on the masses or request fic I owe people. This isn't *technically* part of that compaign.)

[livejournal.com profile] thefourthvine wanted to know how Tim Drake and Adam Young knew each other, and I got a little bit carried away.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] petronelle for help with cleaning duties.

So Dawn Goes Down )

I maintain that, when promising people one line of fic, I did not imply that they wouldn't end up with extra lines as well.

Just to be clear, right?

for [livejournal.com profile] rosaleendhu: The Devil from Brimstone, a bookstore. )

for [livejournal.com profile] hannahrorlove: Plastic Man, going undercover. )

for [livejournal.com profile] m_butterfly: Brimstone/House. 'The incredibly obvious question of selling your soul.' )

for [livejournal.com profile] caia_comica: Alan Scott, candy. )

for [livejournal.com profile] daegaer: Crowley, sunburn. )

for [livejournal.com profile] brown_betty: Gar, and bucket of molasses. )

As you might be able to guess from the title, this was originally supposed to be part of a five things collection, but three of the five never made it past the That’ll never work phase, and the last is slowly becoming a very depressing novellette. However, I was sad to see this bit vanish (even if it's possible that it only makes sense in my head).

One Secret Origin Power Girl Never Had

It’s technically *not* a Good Omens/DCU crossover. No, really. )

For those curious, here’s a link to some Power Girl sort-of-exposition from [livejournal.com profile] scans_daily

And three more pages, to further confuse the issue.

for [livejournal.com profile] m_butterfly: House (and Crowley) )

for [livejournal.com profile] hannahrorlove: Rosalyn Stone. )

for the other fine people I owe ficlets: I might have dropped them off in the future by accident. Sorry 'bout that.
odditycollector: Galaxy with "It's All Temporary" written above it. (Temporary)
( Oct. 27th, 2005 09:51 am)
I've stolen a page block of html out of [livejournal.com profile] brown_betty's book, and offered to write fic snippets.

So far it's just two, both for [livejournal.com profile] vagabond_sal (because of a fairly boring story, the summary of which is that livejournal doesn't think I *need* comment notifications anyway.)

Connor and Kyle. )

Bruce and Diana )

for [livejournal.com profile] caia_comica: Brainy and Kara. )

for [livejournal.com profile] brown_betty: Kon and Power Girl )

for [livejournal.com profile] daegaer: Ligur and Hastur )

If you want one too, leave me the names of two characters and I will write them having a shower together!
So, according to the poll, the most dangerous crack is a toss up between Dom!Aziraphale and Kara/Brainiac 5. But an hour ago, there was a more definite winner, so...

Dom!Aziraphale. )

PS. [livejournal.com profile] caia_comica, what is this imaginary tale of which you speak?
odditycollector: Man in bowler hat and suit holding a sword up, in front of him we see only clouds. Text: The War (Sword - by vagabond_sal)

[livejournal.com profile] louiselux wanted stuff produced in her honour. Who am I to deny her?

First of all, all my squee belong to [livejournal.com profile] vagabond_sal, who wrote me Age of Apocalypse Scott/Warren. I'm not sure if anybody remembers just how long I've been jonesing for AoA Scott/Warren, but I am very happy right now.

Less interesting, I've got some Easter Egg ficlets too:

[livejournal.com profile] vagabond_sal requested Diana/Bruce. )

[livejournal.com profile] daegaer requested Crowley/Bentley, Paris 1968 during the May Revolution. )

[livejournal.com profile] angharad requested Kerr Avon/Tricia McMillan, but, as I'm not familiar with Avon, instead gets a wild card of Trillian, no tea, dark chocolate. )

So then, is everybody else sure they don't want one of their own? It's a good chance to get crack-fic, or possibly to get even with me for the utterly insane requests I've been making of you fine people.

I'm... not actually sure I have an excuse for this.

Divine Inspiration )
So, that first line game was fun. And I learned that I *can*, actually, write really short things (as opposed to the moderately short things I usually write). Also, I might have learned that am something of a fandom whore, if I didn't know it already.

Here are first line drabble things I've written...

For Penknife: 'Erik looked out over the sea of tents.' )

For lovelyzelda: 'As he drove towards Soho, Crowley didn't bother to avoid the glassy eyed pedestrians who idiotically wandered into the street.' )

For louiselux: 'The water, when it came, was cold.' )

For daegaer: 'And there was war in Heaven.' )

For musesfool: 'He has many names, none of them his.' )

And, if that isn't enough, I played [livejournal.com profile] louiselux's game and put together some ficlets made *entirely* of first lines.

From louiselux's lines. )

From daegaer's lines. )

I really, really want to blame [livejournal.com profile] daegaer for this, so I will.

[livejournal.com profile] daegaer pointed out [livejournal.com profile] dorrie6's first-line drabble meme, so of course I had to write one. I'm just a little peeved that it ended up being shades of Aziraphale/Crowley, is all. I don't write Aziraphale/Crowley, dammit. I'm very annoyed, brain.

Anyway.

The offending drabble )

And now, some sleep.
