Since I cannot explain that particular piece of art, I shall simply provide you with the useless information that the experiment is known as the Stroop Effect. And I have a t-shirt of it which I love :)

M- maybe that's the perpetual state of his clothes? He just always walks around with fly unzipped and shirt about his shoulders so he's not really.. further removing.. them....... I don't know.
