Maybe "avoided" wasn't totally accurate. "avoided implying by accident"?

I thought the "TROQ" episode had a pretty good message for Saturday morning fare. Rather than just "racism is bad", it was also "what is not offensive to one person may still be to another, depending on the historical context".
