Make a list of all the characters in your icons. Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.
I've taken out things like water bottles and word balloons, because even if I have no sanity left, somebody else might.
Desire / God/Grumpy Bear - Well. That explains a *lot* actually. Also, I'm glad we don't actually have to *write* these relationships.
Jeriven / Various Magnetos - One's a minor god; one's a self declared saviour, angsty megalomaniac, noble anti-hero, or sadist... depending on which Tuesday it is. Erik would offer to make Jeriven the most worshiped God among Mutants in return for a few divine favours, and Jeriven may even believe him. He does tend on the naive side. Any sex that would come out of this relationship, however, would be disturbing for some of the same reasons you never see much movieverse Erik/Bobby.
Edward Nigma / Alan Scott - Er. They both... live in Gotham? Seriously though, the Riddler would be just about the worst choice possible for a clandestine affair.
Tim: Okay, he's escaped again.
Bruce: Hnn. He'll have told us where he's going to be through clues.
Tim: Well... I found a broken watch. What is that? Stop time? Hasn't he done that one before?
Bruce: What time is it stopped at?
Tim: Seven thirty six.
Bruce: The First Bank of Gotham has a time vault that opens every day at seven thirty six. He must be planning on robbing it.
Tim: Okay. And half a pamphlet for off road vehiccles, but it's misspelled. There's an extra 'c' in the title.
Bruce: There's an amphibious tank showing three days from now. They're designed especially for the 'sea.' He must intend on using one for his getaway. Anything else?
Tim: Okay. And there's also this signed photograph of Green Lantern not wearing any pants. What do you think *that* means?
Bruce: ...
Tim: ...
Bruce: ...
Tim: So. Should we warn Alan, or wait a couple days before rounding Nigma up this time, or...?
Bruce: *grim headdesk*
Bruce: Let's go see if the Joker escaped instead.
1602's version of Warren Worthington III / Vetinari - I can sort of see it, actually. Vetinari is, among other things, a collector of Interesting people, and he might very easily take an interest in Werner, who is pretty like a pretty, broken thing and also has secrets. Those secrets may not be as deep or damming as Werner thinks they are, but by the time Vetinari figures that out I'm sure many Wacky Adventures will have Ensued.
