I ship Moon/Zao, because they are obviously in love, and also very pretty! I mean, you *know* Zao leaves the diamond-shrapnel in his face as a sign of how bereft he is. How hard could it have been to pick them out of his skin? But diamonds really do represent Moon, and they're from the explosion that "killed" him. It's a very deep and obvious gesture. Poor Zao.
It might surprise you to learn that I also approve of Moon's dalliances with Frost and his obsession with Bond. Mostly because they strain the lines of the Moon/Zao relationship further (ie, make it more interesting. To me!), and the "Character X and Character X are involved, but Character X is much more emotionally invested in Character Y than vice versa," is often a relationship kink of mine. I'm kinda a sucky romantic.
