I have given the matter due consideration, and have come to the conclusion that playing on the internet does indeed count as studying for my computer course.
I'm not sure what reading comics counts as, because I don't have an English test coming up, so I'll claim it as a well deserved brain break. Well deserved. Yes. After all, I'm studying for Compsci pretty hard right now.
So, I now have part five of 1602. And things are actually happening, so I'll forgive all the character building space in issues 2 & 3. Not that there wasn't any character in this one: Scottius being all jealous. Hee. And I'm willing to bet he doesn't know Grey's secret identity, although that may just be because fandom stole my brain and filled it with inappropriate thoughts that shall be hunted down and KILLED. (But this is an ARGHH! unrelated to 1602, so.)
Also, the artist's rendition of Neil? Creeped me out. I really don't know why. If I was going to scan pictures again, I'd probably put that one up, but I don't want to inflict that sort of thing on anybody else. I'm sure you're all properly grateful.
Um. I was going to talk about something else in particular, but it wasn't very interesting. Instead, an open question.
What's the most amusing song in the world? Well, according to you, at least.
My vote is for The Last Saskatchewan Pirate.
Well, you’d think the local farmers would know that I’m at large
But just the other day I found an unprotected barge
I snuck up right behind them and they were none the wiser,
I rammed their ship and sank it and I stole their fertilizer
And Mountie Bob, he chased me, he was always at my throat
He’d follow on the shoreline cause he didn’t own a boat
But cutbacks were a-coming and the mountie lost his job
And now he’s sailing with us, and we call him Salty Bob!
That's quality, man. Quality.
