So Carnivale is dead, then?

I think I'm a little heart-broken. It was one of- no, scratch that. It was very possibly *the* best show I've ever watched. I DLed the episodes, and then immediately ran out and bought the DVD set, squeeing the whole way.

I don't know if I ever said anything on LJ about it, but then, Carnivale love was going around fandom like the seasonal flu at the time, so maybe I didn't think I had to. You all *knew* already, and any flailing thing that I could put together wouldn't add anything to the meta and the other flailing things that were already out there.

But somehow, it's not coming back for a third season. No one warned me, and whether this is because no one realized, or everyone *forgot*, or something else unfortunate and dire probably doesn't matter. So I'll be over here, moaning slightly and feeling a vague sense of rage at the world of media possibilities. People, going off a theme anyone encountering me on AIM these last days will be familiar with, are all idiots. (Yes, especially me.)

And I... fuck.

I wanted to see how it was going get to the end.
