And... okay, you can't tell from this one scene, but unless Karate Kid's *actual* superpower is extremely fast tanning/opposite-of-tanning, I feel justified in giving myself extra work here. Justified, and ANNOYED.)

...are you sure it was me? Because there was Shooter, and then there was *Johns*, and you know my feelings on Johns writing things like the Legion. (Or if you don't I can tell you again!)

Shooter was definitely the reason I dropped the last volume, and Johns doesn't help...but most of what I remember of my experience of the Adventure Comics #1 back-up is, "Dude, that's a lot of white people!" So at least some of it is you.

That works, 'cause my motive for issue 2 was that Nura is so much improved it is ridiculous adorable, and she needs a story. There aren't even any crowd scenes in there. It is 30 pages of Precog Girl, as she was always meant to be because seriously, that's the only explanation I have for how many awesome levels she ratcheted up.
