Just now saw a picture of the rebooted Amanda Waller -- here's a link, which leads to a comic book rendering of a thin, young, conventionally attractive woman in a cleavage shirt and glossy red lipstick. Also she appears to be smiling somewhat vacantly.

Which would be fine, if it was ANYBODY BUT AMANDA WALLER WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

No. I mean you. The new and improved Amanda Waller is clearly meant to look like Rosario Dawson, not an old fatty like Angela Bassethound.

Good lord, don't you know that comics are meant to be badly-written softcore? There just aren't any young men 18-34 with a Nell Carter fetish anymore, the Wall was just ugly comic relief now, she had to go.

Seriously, I assumed you understood I meant them. I don't blare it all over the place, but I love the Wall. And Murph, and Briscoe, and Lawton, and mopey Vertigo, and Ravan, and Eve Eden--whom I shipped with Tom Tresser for years. I have all the Ostrander/Yale issues of Suicide Squad in hardcopy.

My improbable theory for the character model mixup:

The artist for the book was told that it was the Angela Bassett character, or Pam Grier, but that the actress was too thin and glam, & he got it backwards, & boom it's this.

"Yeah, Pam Grier, but she was more of a middle-aged fat woman...."
