I would actually argue that the Shanna cover is needlessly hyper-sexualized, because the posing of the dinosaur in relation to her crotch and buttocks is not necessary. Yes, her legs are spread out in a much more stable, defensible pose than most comics cover girls, but she's standing on her toes and, really, the cover would look much better if she were hoisting the decapitated dinosaur corpse over her shoulder. But then, that wouldn't be nearly as sexy, and might even hide part of her chest, so obviously not an option.
It's not the worst cover I've seen (all of us, I'd wager), and coming on the heels of Heroes for Hentai a lot of people were probably just relieved that she has a facial expression whatsoever, but since when is "it could be worse" a good enough argument for us?
