(LJ Will Ramble is either a name or a sentence. It's odd.)

Ever notice how you lose a night of sleep, and the world doesn't seem such a shiny place?

I mean, I suspect nothing much has changed since yesterday, but there are so many little things today that are maddening and... I don't know. Vengefully stupid? What's that emotion when you think the world's putting extra energy into pissing you off?

Like. Internet Explorer isn't presenting table borders properly, for no reason other than 'yeah, bug. they suck.' Like. The insanely expensive non-req'ed textbook I have to buy because my Prof's no good at teaching. The fact that the person across the hallway has this really shrieky voice and. Won't. Shut. Up.

And I go play on LJ, and there's a link on [livejournal.com profile] officialgaiman to an article about how the US Government is getting rid of closed captioning for 'inappropriate' TV shows, such as the Simpsons, or NASCAR racing. And what about the poor Hubble telescope? Not like it was doing anything important, right?*

And pop music. WTF. I thought that crap was dead. *debates throwing shoes at the noise until it goes away*

Oddly, though, I'm not that upset that they're cancelling my favourite show . I mean, I don't really think it would be fair, considering that I DL all my TV for watching. Me shouting 'Why didn't you idiots watch it!' would be sorta dumb.

Anyway, I don't think TV as a medium will last much longer. I give it, oh, ten years on the outside. )
See, I thought it all out (one early early morning, when the satellite wasn't working). So tune in in ten years.

I was going to say 'And maybe they'll even have VR shows by then,' but the only thing that came to mind was 'interactive p0rn!' And then I started giggling and my whole mood was broken.
