Yes, I make my own fun. This is not news.

I wanted to write a whole big ranty thing, but I'm supposed to be studying. So, something shorter. How 'bout a meme I saw on, um, friendsfriends or random journal or something. Unless it was one of you after all, in which case... hmm. You'll know where I got it?

Anyway, you make up three categories, and sort (some of) the fics that you've written into them (I just added the links ‘cause, hey: sly opportunity for pimpage, if only I hadn’t just said that. Damn). I'm not sure what sort of thing this is meant to prove - we tell the same stories over and over, perhaps? - but it sounds like fun.

1. Short fic that takes itself *waay* too seriously
Most of the stuff I've written since I've been on Lj would go here, I think. It's *hard* to write epics anything over 1000 words if you write slow like me and you have to go to university too. Sigh.

-the Harvey Dent/Delirium thing (Perhaps this ought to go in the second category, but it really doesn't hurt my head at all. I was easily spooked for a couple hours after writing it, however...)
-the Thessaly thing
-the Endless week thing (which, whatever its faults, I *did* manage to finish in a week)
-the Good Omens/Sandman crossovers I'm slowly doing
-The Sandman/X-men crossover that I may or may not rewrite someday
-the Charles/Erik 2am in the morning thing
-the Charles/Erik song-fic that isn't really
-All drabbles of this sort
-The Mel/science RPF



2. Dirty, Bad, or otherwise Wrong things I've done on the spur of the moment, and usually after provocation
I'm a little disturbed at how big this section is getting, actually.

- Bart Allen and/or Jim Gordon ...watch porn together Because, yeah. This goes here.
- The Captain Planet thing which did not, fortunately, turn into slash
- The implied Susan/Bentley (in the comments)
- The second half of Moon & Zao vs. the Jedi knights
- The Monstrous Regiment/LoTR snippet
- the approximately three lines of carebear porn (No, not the Madonna route joke; The hot tub scene)

3. Almost decent sized Good Omens stuff
Because, really, what was left?

- The first Sandman or/and Good Omens thing I ever did (still one of my favourites)
- The fic for the flying leap challenge (I don't know how I feel about this one really, but I don't think anyone else does either, so it works out)
- The potential Bond crossover (I wasn't sure if this should go here or above, but there wasn't any sex involved, so.)


Wow. That was more useless fic than I’d thought I’d done. I’m not sure how I should feel about that.
