Those who've known me five minutes might have noticed that I tend to... fixate on things.

For the last while I've been of the opinion that there should be more fic, or more *anything* really, involving nakkid rays*. Why are nakkid rays not a porn cliche, I asked fandom. Write me Supergirl has a nakkid ray! Look! It's canon!

Eh, said Fandom. Canon's boring. Excuse me while I be distracted by something shinier.

However, the universe was apparently feeling sympathetic for my plight, because verily! It brought me nakkid rays cunningly hidden within a Dr Who episode. I was feeling quite happy at finding this, but very few people knew what I was squeeing about, as they had not seen the scene in question.

So here it is. If yousendit is not allowing direct linking today, copy and paste the URL: http://s29.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1CBSKS162H91Z10EI19H9K49SZ

There's no real spoilers for the episode (1x12, in case you were curious). Except perhaps for the existence of the nakkid ray, in which case.... Ooops?

*as opposed to nakkid Rays, because as amusing as twelve inch scientist jokes are, I think we can all agree it is not the same thing.

Last night [livejournal.com profile] vagabondsal and I had a very deep and meaningful discussion on a subject close to the human, well, condition. He felt the conclusions we drew would benefit all, so he posted it like the considerate guy he is.

But then we didn't stop there, like sane people might have done, or those who'd had less coffee...

vagabondsal: ...right, I've no choice now. *reposts to LJ*
flightykaren: Kara: Why *do* you wear them on the outside? )

So, yes. I think the moral to draw from this is that some people *never stop being twelve*.
