Jumping on the meme! Here are five stories I have written that I love, where love is here defined as "had a hell of a lot of fun writing".

First Age
Rupert Giles meets Delirium, Desire, and Despair. It's my favourite because it punched me back when I was writing it, and I still read it once in a while to remember. I think this is one of the best things I've written, and I don't care that no one else seems to agree.

The spell calls for the name of someone he’s killed, so Rupert buys a small, grey rat the morning before and in his own blood on a page of the Bible he writes, Fluffy.

Crossovers That Should Not Be: Trials One, Two and Three
15 mini crossovers with Reboot, carefully selected for *total insanity*. It's my favourite because I had to stop every so often while writing it, as I was laughing too hard to go on.

Jerry Spinger: And remember folks, if you too want to cheat on your significant other with yourself - what you do in your bathroom is your own business, but what you do to your clone is quality TV!

Halfway Points
Harvey Dent and Delirium. You know, I could probably have filled up this whole list with stories where Delirium shows up. She's amazingly fun to write, and her stories are ever tinged with horror. It's my favourite because there's a cadence to it that felt like a love poem from the inside (although later I realized it was merely a poor echo of [livejournal.com profile] penknife's Look Harder).

Harvey recognizes her across his whole life. She's there in the reflection of his father’s eyes, and in the goosebumps on the other side of a bottle of whiskey, when there’s nothing left but aftertaste and empty promises.

Dear Santa
A Kara-centric collection of ficlets based on the Dear Santa letter generator. It's my favourite because it was really interesting to find moments that both fit the letter and felt true, and because, despite everything, *Kara* is my favourite, and this is the first thing I wrote for her that was also, primarily, for me.

Batgirl points to Kara's chest, and Kara glances down. A few drops of her blood have stained the crest of the house of El. "And what would you know about family symbols," says Kara. "You're human."

The Story So Far
A Legion of Superheroes/Cable and Deadpool's intro pages crossover. No, for reals! It's my favourite because, well, there might be something wrong with me, and I probably broke it writing this.

“I thought you’d be better at breaking the fourth wall, really. I mean, your book has those nifty little letter pages.”
