I am not sure I still count as a fic writer anymore.

petra asked of me "If you had to delete all but 5 of your fanworks, which would you keep?", and I had a much, much easier time answering than she did. There was still gnashing of teeth, but basically I would be a giant asshole if some of these disappeared. I'd keep:

1. My JLU shoes, on account of wow they are fun to wear around.

2. Totally Appropriate Covers, aka what if Frank Miller was into beefcake. It has been almost 5 years, and they are still linked around occasionally. I think that's a record for internet relevancy.

3. Everyone Makes It to the 31st Century. The Legion of Super-Heroes in the Alternate Future where PoC exist. This took so many hours in Photoshop, but some of the responses I got... yeah, it's not going anywhere.

4. The Value of Daughters, which is a fanwork inasmuch as it's dedicated to Lian Harper. Not even my favourite fannish poem thing (Hello, How the Bitch Stole Comics) but I think the sharpest I've ever done. (Content warning for descriptions of violence and brief mention of sexual assault.)

5. Prize, the Homestuck fic I recently wrote. I know it is suspect to list the latest thing you wrote as your bestest and most favourite, but in this case people have mentioned working on fanart and other *really cool stuff*, and the thing is I want to see them. (Content warning for mentions of violence and ableist language.)
