Yeah, it was a shock to me too, considering how I mostly ignore his existence totally... but I guess he was worried about that brand of indifference spreading. *shrug* (And you don't *want* to know what his original brainstorm-ed endings were like. One of them involved bulldozers. And *unicorns*. It was almost as scary as the impossibility you suggest!)
