Halloween!

I'm not sure how many people are going to be around tomorrow, so I'm doing this now.

Trick or treat!

Comment - anonymously, or with a sock journal, or even as yourself - and get a treat! Don't forget to let me know what you're disguised as; candy is reserved for people who've surrendered themselves to the spirit of things. (And besides, there's the off chance it'll have an effect on what you get!)

Anyone caught TPing the premises will be punished accordingly.

I'm someone from your friends list in disguise! I am dressed as an alien that looks strangely like a giant pepper.

I come in peace. We want only to free our capsica brothers and sisters - to break their chains and allows the peppers to roam free.

Arthur winced as Trillian bit cheerfully into a vegetable sandwich. Something pulpy and orange ran down her chin, and a few pieces of chopped veggies slipped out from between the bread.

Trillian picked them off the table and tossed them in her mouth. Arthur watched in horror.

"We were just held hostage by giant vegetables," Arthur said. "Just this morning."

Trillian indicated with a gesture that Arthur was welcome to continue, but she herself would not be contributing to the conversation at the moment, due to having a mouth full of vegetables.

"I thought that was it, we were going to die," Arthur said. "This was before Ford and Zaphod burst in with the carrot spinner and rescued us, of course." He considered for a moment. "Mostly."

Trillian shrugged as if to say that these things happened, and even if they didn't, there was no point in dwelling on it. She took another bite of the sandwich with a loud crunch, and Arthur turned slightly green.

"They threatened to chop off one of your legs and boil it," said Arthur, "so you would know how they felt! I honestly don't know how you can eat that."

Trillian grinned at him through teeth covered in spinach, probably*. "With great satisfaction."

*The common name for a foodstuff that consists of little bits of something mostly green. Very popular ingredient in casseroles.
