That's pretty much why they have female heroes, to be perfectly honest. Atleast, that's why I thought they did, since comics are pretty much obscure these days, so women don't really read them. Not that they ever did, but I'm guessing back in the 70s and even during the early 90s boom there weren't that many women into them. Atleast, not that I can see.
Who knows though, right now it's just fanboys and collectors who fail to realize that their investments will never go up in price. They should look at the baseball/hockey/basketball/football card market, and see why no card in the past 15 years is worth more than $20.
