In the aftermath of crack memes being wonderful things,
caia_comica wanted Amanda Waller/Vril Dox II in the shower and/or facing zombies.
And, well, since people rising from the dead is almost *traditional* for today...
Amanda emptied the rest of the machine gun’s clip into the advancing horde. “And you can stop looking smug right now, green boy.”
Vril glared at her over the monitor. “You’re overreacting,” he said. “Everything is entirely under control.”
Amanda rolled a grenade into the hallway and ducked behind the doorframe. She counted off a few seconds after the explosion before looking back out. The hallway was... salvageable, she decided, if somewhat scorched and sticky. At least it was empty for the moment.
She turned back to Vril and put her free hand on her hip. “Oh, you are *not* trying to convince me you *meant* to turn half your forces into brain eating zombies and set them on my headquarters.” Amanda considered this. She amended, “While you were in here too.”
“I wouldn’t waste my time trying to convince you of anything,” Vril said. “Just hold them back for a few more minutes while I work out an antidote.” He jabbed at a button on the console, scowling. “If these were computers instead of slag metal, I would have it finished by now.”
“Well, if I knew you was going to bring friends, I would’ve brought out something special for the occasion.”
Another bunch of zombies shuffled into the corridor, and Amanda slammed in new ammunition. She hefted the gun back into position and pulled the trigger, splattering more decaying pink and grey flesh over the walls. “Why is it always zombies,” she muttered.
Also, as today's theme seems to be seasonal inappropriateness,
villainny offered to write drabbles based on icons, and, um, I never promised not to be evil.
