You know, when I read π(n), I don't think "function!" I think they want me to multiply n by π. I probably wasted twenty seconds figuring out what it wanted to mean, and those are twenty seconds I could have wasted by traditional means.
It's the same with things like Φ(n). I don't think "potential," I think "Oooo. Phi."
Yes. My concerns are academic and slightly surreal.
Anyway, when this lab gets out, I think I'm going to go to the comic shop. Because I've still got a while to procrastinate through, how about a chance to have very little impact on my spending (although you never know. I'm easily convinced).
