Grr. Karen SMASH.

So, I just wrote a thoughtful, intelligent post exploring the local popularity of Matthew Good Band, the reoccurring themes in their music, and my own feelings on the matter. I then put up some songs via yousendit links, and I wrote careful descriptions selling each one to my loyal readership. I read over the post, fixed a few minor grammatical errors, and then went to publish it.

AND THEN LJ ATE IT ARGHH ARGHH ARGHH

So, yeah. I don't feel up to round two of the same, so I'm going to do it Solomon Grundy style. Also, in notepad.

*ahem*

Last few weeks, much flist love for Matthew Good Band. Matthew Good Band is Vancouver local band. Local band play on radio all day. Karen approve! Karen think Matthew Good Band have good music with intereg intelleregent *singable* lyrics. Yay singing!

Karen hear that other peoples not know Matthew Good Band. Sad. But Karen fix!

The Future is X-rated - Song has expensive (heh heh) phone call worked in. Flist *like* that sort of thing.

Alert Status Red - Song about state of world. Pretty!

Symbolistic White Walls - Karen like! Listen, or Karen smash!

Also, some songs on exercise playlist. Run, Karen, run!

Hello, Time Bomb - Karen think funny. Heh heh huh.

Load Me Up - First song Karen notice. Karen track down.

Rico - Song gets stuck in head. Is good that way. Don't have to listen with ears.

The end. They do have many more good songs, so if you liked these, check them out as well.
Today seems to be Canadian Content day for me. I'm sorry, but there's something very Red Green Show about the front page of The Province.

Tell me I'm wrong:

LUMMI INDIAN RESERVATION, Wash. -- A private army that plans to start patrolling the Canada-U.S. border near Blaine on Oct. 1 held its first practice yesterday.

U.S. and Canadian law-enforcement officials say they have serious reservations about pistol-packing members of a ragtag army scouting the border for illegal immigrants and terrorists.

Somehow, I get the sense they're not taking this seriously. Like, at all.
