I find the game at 20q.net very interesting, for all sorts of reasons. It's a neural net type AI program that has developed a notably complete understanding of the world from its users... and, well, sometimes I wonder.

Is it used by the police? I say No.
Do people sit on it? I say Yes.
Does a hockey player use it? I say Doubtful.

 

Of course, then it goes off on its own and makes really odd connections...

Does it taste good with butter? I say Probably.
Can it change size? I say Probably.
Can it climb? I say Probably.
Is it a part of something larger? I say Probably.

 

It disturbs me that it was actually able to *guess* that second one, 'cause it's not like I usually write lists on lettuce.

I think what we can gather from this exercise is that more people go into the game thinking of panties than lists. Or maybe that someone tried to feed the AI the cracktionary?

Hmm.

I... don't remember what my point was anymore. Probably something snarky about the AI, I suspect. Oh, well.
