So, why did you randomly friend me? I don't remember how I got there, but I do recall glancing over some of your posts and feeling interested, so I suppose that probably had a lot to do with it. Plus, I was amused by the geek speak block, and I share a lot of your listed interests (I mean real interests, not just the handful of tv shows I could think of when I typed them.) I'm not that sure about the proper friending etiquette, so apologies if I accidentally sent psycho stalker-lurker vibes.
