I know. I should have drabbles.

*shuffles feet*

But, in my mind, the issue isn't my laziness, or even the end of term panic I could blame it on. No, the problem is that I've found a new thing and there doesn't seem to be anyone on LJ to share in the Squeeing.

The thing happens to be a comic miniseries: My Faith in Frankie, and it's just about the most amusing such thing I've ever read. It's interesting, 'course, and also I was giggling the whole way through. Several times, actually. I'm really really enjoying it. Much more than, say, 1602, which is the only other miniseries I'm following right now. Although #8 hasn't come out yet, so I mean no thumbing of the nose.

I know a couple of you are easily convinced blessed with good taste and will now duly rush out and get it (or at least flip through next time you're in the store), but here's a few pages from the first issue for anyone less trusting of my giddy pimping.

1 2 3, um, 7 8

(And if that last line doesn't inspire giggles, I give up.)

See? I know what I'm talking about (just so long as it isn't heat capacities).

It's cute...but no money. You could always try pimping it again in a few months. ;)

Evil comics pimp!

*sniffle*

(oh, hi, by the way. I am here, it is [livejournal.com profile] foreverdirt's fault.)

Hi back. I'll be sure to blame her appropriately.

Evil comics pimp!
Maybe a little. (For two fifty US, it'll show you a good time...)

No, but you should run out and buy it! Or if you really can't be assed, you could ask me to give you the link to the online issue 1. Because... yeah.

Now I have sent my boyfriend to buy me the comics (he works near a comic-book shop!). He has bought me issues 2,3, and 4.
Would you direct me to the online issue #1? Please?

Sure. (And I'm jealous. You've got him well trained...)

The book's in two pieces:

Part 1: http://davek.bowtome.com/My_Faith_in_Frankie_01-1.pdf
Part 2: http://davek.bowtome.com/My_Faith_in_Frankie_01-2.pdf

I am very proud of him :o)

Thank you for the reply, and the link.
They seem to four-oh-four now. Oh well. It's been a while since it was put up, it may have exceeded bandwidth, or just been taken down to free space. Um.
But I have issues 2, 3 and 4! and I shall find 1, and read them all!
So yay you.

*checks*

Oh no, not again. Sigh.

Well, um. There's always the bittorrent (http://zcultfm4.no-ip.org:6969/stats.html?info_hash=9dc9ad45b32639b6c957f8a24f81bca39b62c004), of course, if you're into that sort of thing. (And, really, who isn't.)
