So, as of a few minutes ago? My fridge. is clean.

Yes.

And if, several hours from now, I suddenly kneel over and die tragically from salmonella poisoning, there will be a strange new cautionary tale for future generations!


 
I'm not sure if the above sentence makes me a optimist or a cynic.

I was doing okay until he started singing about the kids. Then my brain melted trying to figure it out.

Do you think if you split the difference between an optimist and a cynic you get a realist? That thought bugged me for way too long after I wrote that, and then you brought it back up for me. ;p I bet someone could even be both, you know. Like, um. um. hah! Crowley! Or, well, kinda. Um.

Hee! I took a class on Artificial Intelligence and we had to write a program based on that song. I am way too familiar with it.

I guess you could be an optimist AND a cynic if you hoped for the best but expected the worst. There's not really a term for that perspective, is there? Maybe we could use "realist" to describe that.
