I meant to make this official a couple weeks ago, so here we go. My webstrip, Monte Carlo Doctrine, is ended as of 37. (And hey, 37 out of the hoped for 50 strips. That's a solid B, right?)

If you've been curious, now is a great time to check them out! Here are some of my favourites:

5: Dating searches.
8. Finding peace.
12. Closing off from the world.
13. The girl who lives in the poem. The first in the... well, the format doesn't really support storylines. Theme?
20. Waiting for a sign.
22. Considerations of a physical nature.
29. White lies.
33. Observations.

As an experiment, I'm still not sure if it was successful or not. I think it at least came close at times, and I can't shake the feeling something cool could be done with the format or one very like it.

I'm not sure how to gauge success in this context, but I liked it and I went through all the strips. (And I feel the final one would be a perfect SCC fic prompt! Alas, I am not a creative writer.)

37 out of 50 or not, I'm crazy impressed by your discipline. That still seems like a lot - I'm enjoying the different experience of rereading them from the beginning as a batch. I still can't figure out what I think - it's more a mood than a coherent reaction. This was the first strip of its kind that I followed, apart from a few of A Softer World.
