Some things I found amusing today.
-A shirt that read Graduated in ‘69
-The Institute for the Study of Pain
-That someone put bubblebath in the mall fountain
-That because I've taken to wearing sandals of late, my toes are a different colour than the rest of me
-A line by Terry Pratchett: They had an inbuilt resistance to rules. This didn’t just apply to the law, but to all the invisible rules that most people obeyed unthinkingly, like ‘Do not try to eat this giraffe’ or ‘Do not headbutt people in the ankle just because they won’t give you a chip’.
-The fact that I’m probably going to half to pack half my stuff back into boxes. The trouble with moving from a big room to a small one is that junk tends to expand to fill the available space, but it doesn’t go back the other way very willingly.
Also, I’ve had this persistent urge to read a Harry Potter fic. A very specific Harry Potter fic. It’s odd. I’m mostly frightened on the fandom.
Since it’s frighteningly long, maybe I’ll give it a couple of months to be written and then go looking for it. (‘Tis theorized that enough people writing enough fic will eventually write all the fic there is, and this is so far as I know true, and nowhere truer than the HP ‘dom where there is certainly enough people… Um.)
