I'm not sure why I thought this was needed. There's a favourite tv show meme going around, but the questions seemed somewhat lacking, so I substituted the 12 character questions from an earlier meme. (The hardest part, it turns out, was coming up with 12 shows I know well enough.)

BSG/Highlander – Nope! Although it might work. Duncan tends to fall into prophesies, so he’d fit right in. Of course, unless it’s a world “fusion” type thing, the timeline will make one’s head dribble no matter how it’s worked out.
Do you think Four is hot? How hot?
BTVS. I will go with moderately hot. I had an embarrassing David Boreanaz crush for while at about age 13. (I don’t mean embarrassing in retrospect. I mean, I cut out photos of him and pasted them in undecorated notebooks, which I hid in shoeboxes under the bed or in the back of the closet and NEVER SPOKE OF THEM.) The season two finale broke me, as my relationship kinks were pretty well in place even then, and that was the closest to them of anything I’d seen.
But after that moment of epiphany… it was like looking at a girl you *knew* was blindingly hot the night before and finding her only objectively attractive. Still desirable, of course, and you hand over your phone number, but you find yourself forever wondering if maybe she was wearing different makeup before. Still, sometimes a police car will scream by, and in the strobing colours of light she’ll tilt her head just *so* and you’ll remember, Oh yeah, take me now. She shuffles nervously after a while, when you don’t stop staring.
What would happen if Twelve got Eight pregnant?
If Brimstone got Doctor Who pregnant... Suddenly, the circumstances of Torchwood’s conception are made apparent.
Can you rec any fic(s) about Nine?
Nope! I suspect there might be Life on Mars fic, somewhere, but I’ve so far been content not to seek it out.
Would Two and Six make a good couple?
The West Wing and House. Actually? Yeah, I think they’d get along.
They are filled with smart snarky people with Very Important Jobs. House and Jed would snark at each other for a good while, and it would turn out Jed had not MS at all! He’d be cured! Toby and House would compete for the king misanthrope title, and CJ can take on House’s students and win. So long as Dana isn’t aware he’s married, she would refill Wilson’s coffee. A lot. Josh can make fun in a somewhat mean manner. Wilson’d dump as much out his window as he can, but still end up appropriately jittery. (The falling coffee, of course, lands on Will.)
Abbey and Cuddy would get on well, and they’d have fun watching the rest of the casts try to integrate. As would we all.
Five/Nine or Five/Ten? Why?
Xena/Life on Mars or Xena/SGA. Um, I’ll go with Xena/SGA. It seems almost plausible really (in fact, even as someone only glancingly familiar with SGA fandom, I’d be surprised if it has *not* been done yet). Wacky science magic and random time travel aside, they both have that feel of being empty beyond the 2D façade. And, you know? Maybe Xena’s gods are Ancients. Wouldn’t that explain a lot?
Adding extra time travel to Life on Mars just seems too… too. It’d overload the premise. Although, maybe Xena and Gabrielle wake up and suddenly they are in 1973 as well. Sam is called to a disturbance… a large woman is beating the crap out of an army of gangsters. She’s obtained a steering wheel at some point, and it’s zinging around, knocking people out and deflecting bullets.
“Do you still believe this can possibly be the real world,” Sam asks Annie, finally feeling validated.
What would happen if Seven walked in on Two and Twelve having sex?
If JLU walked in on The West Wing and Brimstone having sex… it would get freaked out by the extra 3rd dimension, but not *so* much. This is a show that regularly sees alien invasions and dimensional confusion, after all.
It’d probably stick around a moment with wide, fascinated eyes - because for all that it is rated family friendly, JLU is a show about shiny happy people in fetish gear - until Brimstone looks up and drawls a lewd invitation. JLU quickly backs out of the room and shuts the door. But as it walks down the corridor, it is grinning.
Make up a summary for a Three/Ten fic.
Firefly/SGA.
What, that isn’t *enough*? You already know there will by unexplained “Science”, and Kaylee showing up Rodney’s technical expertise (“Zedpee’m, huh? Sure you can recharge it. What do you think this little gidget is for?” Rodney: “Splutter”) as well as John’s Atlantis connection (“Oooh, shiny. Um. Is the city supposed to be floating like that?” John: “Is it weird that I’m jealous?”). Simon will attempt to give Beckett a crash course in professional ethics, because although he is *barely* qualified, he is at least barely *qualified*, and someone sure as hell has to do it. Of course, Beckett will be less than receptive, as Simon’s traditional greeting is insulting people.
And you can expect there will be much chasing after River and, “Don’t touch that!” Although I suspect she and Ronon would get along (“So empty inside.” Ronon: “Why is your ear on my forehead?” River: “Shhhh. I can hear the ocean”).
Is there any such thing as One/Eight fluff?
BSG/Dr Who. My immediate guess is no, but again, I rarely seek out fic for either fandom. However, I think it’d be easier to do a non-serious story than something angsty, if anyone wants to try. The addition of Doctor Who would make the backdrop universe of BSG seem rather flat and melodramatic – like a painted backdrop of stars on a movie set. If you’re a character, you look at the tiny points of light, brilliant and encompassing and like a sketch of infinity; if you’re the doctor, you walk up and lean against the wall.
Suggest a title for a Seven/Twelve hurt/comfort fic.
JLU/Brimstone. There would be an expedition of superpeople in hell, trying, perhaps, to reclaim one of their own.

If I wanted BtVS to Deflower BSG? The First Evil, I think. It wouldn’t be so out of place in BSG, especially if it sticks to dreams and visions and private spaces. BtVS would come in with magic and kickass action scenes, and BSG would fan itself and swoon. “Your mythic arcs are so rugged,” it will say. “You seem so… experienced.” BtVS will totally go with the situation, because she’s a little bit slutty like that.
Does anyone on your friends list read Seven slash?
Yes. There hasn’t been much new stuff around (me) for a while, but I know a few of you have a weird appetite for JLU Flash/Batman.

I wish I knew more about British pop music, because I suspect “British pop music with a bit of techno in” is the right answer for Doctor Who. As it is, the only bit of music I have that I’m sure offhand is British is by the Bloc Party. And up until two days ago I thought “Bloc Party” was the *title* of the song and it had to do with politics in Quebec.
Asking my opinion on suitable songs, I think we can gather, is not a very useful exercise.

Well, House is the sort of show that’ll bring out the handcuffs on the second night, almost as a dare, and ask you to talk dirty to it over the company phone. However, it has a desire for quiet, slow, vanilla sex where the other party whispers, “I love you,” at orgasm, and that disturbs it greatly.

Would Eleven shag Nine? Drunk or sober?
Highlander would *totally* shag Life on Mars. Their taste in stuff is, well, not too disjunct (although Life on Mars might raise an eyebrow at the Queen obsession). Alcohol’d be involved, on account of they meet at a bar and strike up conversation, but in the morning neither’d be *too* disappointed at what they see.
