So, while I wouldn't argue that The Day After Tomorrow is a cinematic masterpiece to transcend all time, it's a great way to kill a couple hours. Although it probably would have been a lighter experience if Vancouver wasn't in the middle of one of its patented Weeks-O'Rain.

(But I have absolutely no will power, so I'm sure I'll end up posting it sooner or later.) In the meantime, how 'bout some much better things to read?
First of all, if you haven't yet read
yahtzee63's "Goodnight, Moon", dude, go read it right now; I'll wait. It's Joan of Acadia fic, but you don't need to know anything at all, going in; I didn't. Read it as an original work if that's what it takes to click on the link.
Then there's Down to the Earth with Violence by
daegaer, who wrote a Good Omens entry so I didn't have to. She also wrote an AU Gedge and Bracy story: According to their Kinds which is very moving.
vagabondsal wrote an X-men piece: The Second Angel which is not only good, but fits disturbingly well with the movie considering it was written before the movie came out.
There's others, but I'll have to get to them later. You have no idea how long it took me to tap this entry out so far...
