They are not! It is, for whatever loony reason, Shawn/Lassiter. Which makes about as much sense to me as Shawn/Jules, and appeals to me just as much.

I can sort of see Gus/Jules - they could geek out together! - but the more I watch, the more I'm convinced it's more of a gay-best-friend dynamic (with *both* the boys, actually). And they could *still* geek out together, anyway!

(Actually, this might be why I wasn't totally won over by Gus' lady fixation this ep. We've seen him get that excited about safe cracking tools! ...Although now I am disturbed and shall not go there!)
