So I am reading the Blackest Night: Wonder Woman miniseries, because I miss the high political drama of Wonder Woman as written by Greg Rucka. Plus, the BN: Superman mini was self contained enough I could follow it without reading the core event books, and I am hopeful this is a trend.
It's not, but the first issue is entertaining enough I'm willing to scan through the other 2 for bits that make sense. They are scattered thinly, among confusing character reads and questionable costume redesigns.
But what sticks with me is this bit:

If even Wonder Woman is offended at being called a girl, what hope have any of us?
ETA: Feels backwards, but discussion on LJ.
