I assume I am meant to be heartbroken over Cristina and Owen breaking up and Cristina running back to Meredith but... this is what I've been rooting for since we *met* Owen, okay. And who caught the bit in the beginning of the ep where he's still jealous of Cristina&Meredith! (In case you are not convinced, happydork, that he would be the worst at poly relationships. :p )

...I suppose the show has been playing up Owen's passive aggressive entitlement issues purposefully of late, but they've always been there.

(Re: Meredith's marriage difficulties, I'm not concerned whatsoever. Besides, her cheating on behalf of Adele proves she *does* understand family loyalty rather than the opposite. Obv.)

I am SO HAPPY we ended with Cristina and Meredith together. I would have been even happier if the show had ended on a shot of Meredith shushing the kid in the same room as Cristina was lying down -- not that I don't think that the two of them are still drawing comfort from each other just being in the same house, but it would have been a much more satisfying visual metaphor to end on than blah blah Derek blah blah unfinished house blah.

Owen's "Do you think I want you to be unhappy?" thing was so utterly unconvincing! He doesn't want her to be unhappy, but he doesn't want her to be HER, either. The fact that she'd told him she'd made an appointment for a termination rather than just having the termination and then telling him? That's Cristina loving him. That's Cristina trying to meet him halfway.

Well, I don't think Cristina was in the mood for other people's babies right then. But I was pretty happy we got to them them being each other's support systems. It is my favourite part of the show as I will say over and over.

"If you loved me you'd say yes!"
"If you loved me you wouldn't ask!"
He wants Cristina to be happy... being the person he built of her in his mind. That doesn't work. To appreciate Cristina Yang you sort of have to admire her while standing out of her way.

Unfortunately him trying to meet her halfway is "well what if we share diaper duty?" I think someone mislabelled her starting position on all his maps. Hint, it was him.

I've really come like Avery and Kepner! Much more than George and Izzy, who were so whiny all the time.
