And there is no silly thing for today… at least none typed up. There is a bit of suspicious Dom!Aziraphale sitting in my notebook, but I feel that last night’s typo fest has taught me a lesson about transcribing when tired. (Pro’ly won’t take, but.)

You know, as much enjoyment as I get from writing fic, cracked or not, sometimes I really wish my creative process tended towards the more… original. It’s just getting silly. I was all excited today because I thought I’d stumbled onto an idea for a possibly interesting AU crossover thing, but about a sentence and a half in I stopped, realizing suddenly that someone else had already written that story better than I ever could.

*sigh* I’m tempted just to write it anyway.

In other not so much news as stating the obvious, I find myself drifting more and more away from the GO fandom. On the one hand, this is normal behaviour for me – I tend to jump primaries every few months – but on the other hand, I find myself all but wincing when something new arrives on [livejournal.com profile] lower_tadfield. Or maybe it’s that I’m running out of stories for them. Or maybe it’s just that many of the people who were around when I got sucked in have went on to other things as well, and I am more of a sheep than I might have supposed.

And now, a poll!

I feel like I've been in fandom transition mode for ages now--which happens every so often, but it's never lasted this long. Given my usual habits, I really should've jumped ships by now, but nothing's really grabbed me.

And I have no idea why l_t is still on my friendslist as the most I do with it lately is check the comments to see if anyone I know enjoyed the fic, and then click the back button if they're not there.

We should totally pimp things at each other. Why should I watch... *checks interests* Sailor Moon?

I find myself slipping more and more towards the DC comics side of things, although I am at a easily distractible stage. Just looking for something shiny that gets at my kinks, right?

Because it's about a varying number of teenage girls who have magical powers and save the world while still managing to have actual personalities instead of just being "gusty" and "butt-kicking." Well, okay, Jupiter's pretty into the butt-kicking thing, but she also loves cooking and flowers.

I keep drifting over there too. Although the only comics I read are the ones that turn up on scans_daily(why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?). So it's mostly cartoons.

No pairing has really taken over my brain, which is probably what I need to get past the whole "what the hell is still canon this month?" problem. And Batman: TAS wormed its way into my brain, so I have a very low tolerance for gritty, angsty, complete bastard Batman (he's only a complete bastard most of the time, dammit!)

Which is a point, but you can get comics online is you like (bittorrent and DC++ are good for that, as examples).

Or I can put a few up for you. I think I have some good stuff on my hard drive right now.

Hmm. If I was going to check out a couple eps of Sailor Moon, which would you recommend?
